On March 12th Levaero Aviation participated at the Girls Take Flight event in Oshawa, Ontario. Headed by Lesley Page, the First Canadian Chapter of the Ninety-Nines, and Durham Flight Centre invited girls and women to the Oshawa Airport (CYOO) to experience aviation for the first time and to discover potential career opportunities in the industry. Participants were able to network with aviation professionals from across Canada (all areas of both Civilian and Military) and engage with guest speakers on the topics of career advancement, leadership in the aviation industry, cutting-edge trends in engineering, careers, and more. According to Stan Kuliavas, Vice President of Sales & Business Development at Levaero Aviation: “those who work in the aviation industry share an underlying passion for the field, unfortunately exposure to the various roles in our industry is often hard to come by. Levaero Aviation is proud to play a small role in opening the doors of our industry to the next generation of female leaders.”
