PRESS RELEASE

Thunder Bay, Ontario – January 23, 2018

Thunder Bay, Ontario based Levaero Aviation received EASA AMO approval on January 18, 2018, permitting Levaero to perform maintenance services on EU registered aircraft and components.
“Our FAA AMO approval has allowed Levaero to grow and maintain our U.S. client base over the years” explained Steve Davey, Levaero’s Executive Vice President and COO/DOM. “We continually see a growing interest in our maintenance services from outside Canada, and on a number of occasions an EASA AMO approval would have allowed us to assist EU- based customers who required maintenance services. This was simply a logical next step for us.”, added Davey.

Established in 1997, Levaero’s Thunder Bay, Ontario service centre operates 24/7/365 and employs 38 full-time service staff, with the AMO holding Aircraft, Avionics, Instruments and Structures categories.
